In the 1940s I wrote my name. In the 1950s I wrote a high school mini-thesis on McCarthyism. In the 1960s I wrote some poetry (a few published), a study of the architecture of Paolo Soleri (in college, unpublished), a monograph on the films of Stan Brakhage (published 1966 by Film-Makers Cinematheque).
